How To Manage Multiple Instagram Accounts Within The App

Back in November of 2015, support for multiple Instagram accounts made a cameo appearance in the Android beta app. While the feature was limited to some users and it did not stick around for long, it is now being rolled to all users iOS and Android. Finally, users are now able to easily manage personal and business Instagram accounts from the same device. Here’s how to manage multiple accounts within the app:

Step 1: Once in the app, go to your profile to access the Settings menu in the top right corner.

Step 2: Head down towards the bottom of the menu where you will find the Add Account option. Tap it to open and then enter your log-in info for another Instagram account.

Step 3: Once this is done, you can then switch between accounts by tapping your username at the top of the app. You can add up to a total of five accounts through the username menu.

According to Instagram, push notifications will work for all accounts that have them enabled.

If you would ever need to log back out of any of your added accounts, just select it from the username menu and go to the Settings area through your profile. Once there, you will see a log-out option near the bottom of the list that will let you check out of your current account.
